We went to Oukitel's booth at MWC and although their new innovations weren't exactly intriguing, there were a few that caught our eye and deserve some attention due to their quirkiness. Starting with the Titan W100 which features a massive 33,000 mAh battery, Dimensity 7300 SoC, a built-in 100-lumen projector, a built in 1200-lumen camping light, and a rugged design. The WP200 Pro features a 6.7-inch 60Hz FHD+ AMOLED screen and is powered by Dimensity 8200 SoC. You also get a primary 108 MP camera and up to 24 GB of RAM, and up to 1TB storage.

Infinix unveiled a tri-folding flip phone, the Zero Series Mini Tri-Fold Concept Device, at MWC 2025. This device features two hinges, allowing it to collapse into a compact size. Its questionable form factor makes it one of the bizarre devices we spotted at the trade fair this year.

Chinese brand HiFuture is showcasing their Future Ring2 smart ring, made of Titanium and it claims to offer a battery life of up to 10 days, the longest out of any smart ring out there. The ring comes with most fitness features like Step tracking, Blood Oxygen, Stress Index, Sleep Quality, Heart Rate, Skin Temperature, and movement detection. Its biggest highlight is its price, as it only costs $59.

Like each year, MWC 2025 was no different. From popular firms like Lenovo flexing their innovative prowess to relatively new firms like Infinix showcasing quirky devices, some of the best concepts and innovations were from the brands Tecno, Realme, Infinix, HMD, and Xiaomi. Notably the Tecno Spark Slim being the slimmest device, Lenovo's Codename Flip and Yoga Solar, Infinix's solar-powered innovations, and Xiaomi's and the world's first TWS with Wi-Fi. Besides, there were an array of foldable devices, an E-ink device from Mudita, and more.

Tecno showcased the world's thinnest phone, the Tecno Spark Slim, at 5.75 mm, and a tri-folding phone, the PHANTOM ULTIMATE 2 Tri-Fold, at 9mm. The Spark Slim features a large battery and curved display, while the PHANTOM ULTIMATE 2 has a 3K LTPO OLED panel and a state-of-the-art hinge design.

The Focus 2 Ultra sports Nubia's in-house Neovision AI photography system, just like on the firm's other flagships. However, the main highlight of the device is that it sports a rotatable camera lens ring at the back, which you can use to adjust the Zoom, cycle through presets, or adjust the Aperture of the device.

TCL has announced six new smartphones in the TCL 60 series at MWC 2025. The lineup includes the TCL 60 NxtPaper Series and the TCL 60 (non-NxtPaper) Series, offering features such as 108MP cameras, high refresh rates, and long battery life. Prices range from 109 to 199 euros, with some models available in the US and others in European, Asian, and Latin American markets.

The Alpha Plan involves developing an open AI ecosystem, for which the firm will collaborate with Google and Qualcomm. Honor has also launched many devices including the MagicBook Pro 14, Honor Earbuds Open, Watch Ultra 5, and the Honor Pad V9. Besides, Honor will be offering 7 years of software updates and security patches to the Honor Magic7 Pro, and will expand the same to other devices in the future.

Infinix has a few concepts, specifically a back panel and a case that leverages solar energy to charge a phone. The firm also has phone with E-ink tech at the back. The firm says it can charge a device at 2W and is meant to increase the phone's standby time when not in use. The case that Infinix had on display was shown with a prototype phone with contact points to take the charge.

The Anker Solix jacket is a wearable, sci-fi inspired piece of tech that combines weather protection with solar power. It can charge devices, a 30-watt USB-C output, and a blue LED strip for safety. While still a concept, it could be a great companion for long hikes or adventures, pending its potential release.

Qualcomm has unveiled its latest X85 5G modem at the MWC 2025. It comes with a 30% faster AI co-processor which can reduce latency and improve speed and efficiency.

Lenovo showcased a Solar laptop concept, which the firm claims has one of the highest conversion rates in the industry at 24%. Stating further, the higher conversion rate was achieved with “Back Contact Cell” technology, which moves the wiring to the top most layer of the laptop's lid to absorb more sunlight. Besides, Lenovo has also unveiled a wide range of Yoga Laptops, including the Pro 9i and 7i Aura Editions, Pro 7, Slim 7, and 2-in-1s.

Motorola has announced it will be adding a myriad of new features to the Smart Connect app. One of the main features includes the integration of Moto AI. Users can ask the AI to stream their phone's content to their laptop or TV. Besides, they can ask the AI to search for documents and there's a brand-new device dashboard that lets you know the battery percentage of your ecosystem of devices. The features are expected to arrive in the next few weeks.

Xiaomi unveiled its new Watch S4 and Smart Band 9 Pro at MWC 2025. The Watch S24 has a 1.43-inch display, a 486 mAh battery lasting up to 15 days, and 150+ sports modes. The Smart Band 9 Pro features a 1.74-inch display, improved health monitoring, GPS, and a 21-day battery life. Prices are 159.99 Euros and 79.99 Euros, respectively.

Xiaomi's HyperAI was unveiled at MWC 2025, and it brings lots of cool general and generative AI features, including AI Writing tools like Summarize, Proofreading, and Expanding the text. Then there's the AI Speech Recognition feature, AI subtitles which will generate subtitles for you when playing videos, much like Live Captions on Pixels. There's also a Cinematic Look features which will add a cinema look to the videos shot on your device.

Xiaomi has just released their new uber premium flagship phone called the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. It features a 6.73-inch 1440p LTPO AMOLED display, up to 12GB of RAM, and a quad-camera setup including a 200MP Samsung HP9 periscope lens. It runs on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 and supports up to 4 years of software updates. Pricing starts at 1,499 Euros for the 16+512GB version in Europe.

Samsung has revealed the Galaxy A56, A36 and A26 devices. They come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display, a 5,000 mAh battery, and IP67 protection. It features new AI enhancements like Best Face. Priced at $499, it will be available later, while the A36 and A26 launch this month for $399 and $299, respectively.

Lenovo-owned Motorola has made a concept phone that can also act like a wearable device, serving two functions in one device. The phone requires you to wear a strap with magnets, and the phone's body has magnets to latch on to the strap. Motorola says it's still a concept and might not be coming anytime soon to the market. Regardless, we think it should remain a concept.

Lenovo has unveiled its 2024 AI PC lineup at MWC. Five new laptops have launched, with a new ThinkBook and several ThinkPad laptops. These new laptops come with AI features, thanks to Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen 8040 series processors that include a NPU (Neural Processing Unit) chip. Some new ThinkPad laptops also support the latest Wi-Fi 7 connectivity standard. Many neat features are offered on Lenovo's new laptops, such as the new Communications bar, which makes them perfect for professional environments.

Although the new features are not groundbreaking, Google has announced some key AI features for all of its platforms including Android, Android Auto, Wear OS, Google Docs, etc. You can chat with Gemini in the Google Messages app, have all your notifications summarized in Android Auto, view your boarding pass and other cards on your Wear OS smartwatch, and more.

In an official blog post, Samsung has yet again teased the launch date for Galaxy Ring. Furthermore, it mentioned a few upcoming features, including My Vitality Score, Booster Card, and Sleep Apnea, that could enable more insights in health tracking using its wearables.

Motorola has struck a deal with Corning to use Gorilla Glass in all Motorola devices launching in the second half of this year. While most Motorola flagships already come with Gorilla Glass, this deal is probably to bring Gorilla Glass to Motorola's mid-range devices.

Xiaomi has finally launched its flagship of the year, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra globally at MWC 2024. The smartphone comes with quad-camera setup with the primary being a Sony LYT-900 1-inch sensor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a large 5,300mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Lenovo is reportedly going to showcase a transparent laptop at MWC 2024 later this month. As per leaked images, the laptop has a keyboard deck which looks virtual and extended trackpad space. We don't know any specifications, apart from Windows 11 support on this transparent laptop concept by Lenovo. According to the sources, Lenovo will release several other laptops at MWC 2024.
